Who I am

Exo Mobile Detail LLC is a mobile auto detailing business operating in Tumwater, Olympia, Lacey, and the surrounding Thurston County area of Washington State. It is run by one person, so “I” throughout this policy means Exo Mobile Detail LLC.

What I collect

When you request a quote or book a walkaround, I collect:

• Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
• Service address: the street address where the vehicle will be, plus any access notes you give me, such as parking, gate codes, or pets.
• Vehicle details: year, make, model, color, size, and anything you tell me about its condition.
• Booking details: the service you selected and your appointment time.
• Photographs of your vehicle: I photograph the vehicle before I begin work, and often afterwards. The first set is a record of the condition it was already in. I do not photograph the inside of your home, and I do not photograph people without consent.
• Consent record: if you check the box agreeing to be contacted, I store the exact wording you were shown, the date and time, and the IP address the request came from. This is required proof that you agreed.

I do not collect payment card details through this website. Nothing is charged online.

Why I collect it

• To give you an accurate quote and schedule your appointment.
• To get to the right address and arrive prepared.
• To contact you about your booking: confirming, rescheduling, or letting you know I am on the way.
• To keep a record of work done on your vehicle, so return visits are easier.
• To meet my legal obligations, including keeping proof of consent.

Text messages and phone calls

If you check the consent box, you agree I may contact you by phone, text, and email about your quote and service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. Opting out of texts does not cancel your booking. I will reach you by phone or email instead.

Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are never shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, and are never provided to lead generators. Consent to receive text messages from Exo Mobile Detail LLC is used only by Exo Mobile Detail LLC.

Your email address is used to send your confirmation, to reach you about your quote and service, and — if I ever write to past customers about Exo Mobile Detail LLC — to do that. It is never sold, and never shared with anyone outside Exo Mobile Detail LLC for their own marketing.

Who I share information with

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not rent or trade it. I share it only with the service providers I need in order to operate, and only so they can perform that service for me:

• My website host and database provider, which store your booking securely.
• My email provider, which delivers your confirmation.
• My calendar provider, so your appointment appears on my schedule.

I may also disclose information if I am legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect someone’s safety or my legal rights.

What I do with vehicle photographs

Photographs of your vehicle are kept as a record of the work and its condition. I may show them to you, and I will send you a copy if you ask.

I will not post a photograph of your vehicle publicly without asking you first. If I would like to use a before and after shot to show my work, I will ask you, and no is a perfectly good answer that changes nothing about your service. If you say yes and later change your mind, tell me and I will take it down. Where I do publish a photo, I keep license plates and house numbers out of the frame or obscured.

How long I keep it

I keep booking and service records for as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and legal requirements. Consent records are kept for as long as I may contact you, plus the period I am required to retain proof of that consent. You can ask me to delete your information at any time, see below.

Your choices

• Stop texts: reply STOP to any message.
• Stop emails: reply to any email and tell me, or call or text. Booking confirmations and receipts are part of the service you asked for, so those keep coming while you have work booked.
• See, correct, or delete your information: email or call me and I will take care of it. I may need to keep some records where the law requires it.

How I protect it

Your information is stored in an access-controlled database, and the connection between your browser and my site is encrypted. No system is perfect, but I do not keep information I do not need, and I do not store card details at all.

Children

My services are for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given me information, contact me and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy I will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how I contact you will be communicated directly.
